FOREVER

the training approach

  • Mobility is about more than being flexible. It’s about being flexible and strong across a healthy range of motion

We use a combination of loaded stretching, end range loading and full range of motion strength training to help clients safely increase range of motion and build functional mobility.

  • Strength training is great for us… but it’s also just really fcking fun.

Our style of strength training is heavily influenced by modern day powerlifting.

If you’ve never touched a barbell before, don’t worry. You’re in the right place. Most clients are new to the barbell when they start. They all quickly fall in love with strength training because it’s really fcking fun ;)

  • Another thing that’s a whole lot of fun is taking all the strength you’ve built and using it to run faster and jump higher 🔥

We use plyometrics and high intensity interval training to do exactly that.

the training philosophy

  • Movements that challenge us have lots to teach us about unaddressed weaknesses.

Rather than avoiding challenging or problematic movements, we believe in working with them to identify and train weak links, becoming stronger and more resilient as a result

  • We agree with the maxim, “the only unsafe movement is the one you haven’t trained.”

This is why we like training our bodies in all the ways bodies were made to move.

  • We believe in learning what science has to teach us and applying it in practice.

We also believe in the savage spirit of lifting.

After all, you’re not thinking about biomechanics in the middle of a deadlift…. you’re tapping into some primal power and praying to the gods of iron.

So, we identify as one part science and one part savage.
